Faith. Hope. Community.

Purple Helping Hands is a project and community dedicated to spreading pancreatic cancer awareness and supporting people living with pancreatic cancer and their supporters by providing connections to resources and supportive networks. Purple Helping Hands is based in Fargo-Moorhead of North Dakota and Minnesota but seeks to offer support to all impacted by pancreatic cancer.

The history of Purple Helping Hands begins with Tammy (Heimbuch) Prischmann, a faith-filled pancreatic cancer warrior who had a growing passion and a sprinkle of determination. Tammy wanted to create a community for pancreatic warriors, like herself, and their families, a space to share experiences and advice, and a place to find important resources for the fight against pancreatic cancer.

While Tammy is no longer with us here on Earth, her legacy, faith, and determination remain. She is the founder and inspiration for carrying out the mission of Purple Helping Hands. Tammy's niece Halli and other family members continue carrying out the mission of Purple Helping Hands.

Greetings!

I am honored and grateful to lead and support the mission of Purple Helping Hands in memory of Tammy. As a current nutrition graduate student, I am growing alongside Purple Helping Hands. Our project and community seek to raise awareness of pancreatic cancer, the resilience of those impacted by this disease, and the confidence that can be found in Christ.

Let's do this together, one helping hand at a time.

God be with you,

Halli
